CAT of the Month Competition

This season, the Kent Youth League was delighted to welcome CAT-GK as a new sponsor for the 2021/22 season.

CAT-GK, run by former Kent Youth League players Charlie Himbury and Adam Molloy, provide top-quality goalkeeping gloves. The pair and their company are supporting the League with a new competition to reward goalkeepers.

It’s often felt goalkeepers are somewhat forgotten about, with Golden Boot and Goal of the Month competitions common practice, their is less to recognise the efforts of those between the sticks. Well, this season KYL and CAT-GK are putting that right.

Each month teams are invited to submit nominations for a goalkeeper to be recognised for their individual performances. At the end of each month CAT-GK will pick a winner from each age group and reward them with a pair of gloves. If no entries are submitted, the goalkeeper who has conceded the least amount of goals will win “CAT of the Month”.

To submit nominations, clubs should email the following details to info@cat-gk.co.uk

  • Name
  • Club
  • Age Group
  • Nomination (Maximum 250 words)

The guys will select their winner and contact them to arrange presentation of the gloves. Winners will also be announced on social media too.
