29. Advice to club secretaries and team representatives to help in the smooth running of the league
- Be prompt in attention to correspondence at all times. Club secretaries to pass all information on to club managers where required.
- Contact the visiting team and match officials a minimum of FIVE days before the Match with all match details. Failure to do so and a fine of £10.00 will be imposed.
- See that your team is ready to kick off at the appointed time 11.00am for under 18 and either 11.00am or 14.00pm for all other age groups.
- Players should be ready for the appointed kick off time on the field of play even if the other team is not. Failure to do so and a fine of £10.00 will be imposed.
- Please inform the Fixtures Secretary, Referees Secretary, Match Officials and Visiting Club of any changes to Venue, Kick Off Time Or Cancellation as soon as possible.
- Please inform the Fixtures Secretary of any discrepancies to fixtures and results on the web site and if you enter any county or cup competitions not associated with the KENT YOUTH LEAGUE as soon as possible.
- For player registration please fill in all required information and send to the Registration Secretary along with a Self Address Envelope enclosed.
- For results of fixtures please inform the Registration Secretary. For 11.00am kick off, results to be phoned between 13.00pm and 14.00pm. For 14.00pm kick offs no later than 17.00pm. Failure to do so and a fine of £10.00 will be imposed. No excuses accepted.
- Each club will award a mark out of 100 for each referee on his control of the game. Any club showing an appointed referee his mark will be deemed guilty of serious misconduct and will be dealt with by the league council. Please see that match officials are looked after on your ground and that you are courteous to him at all times.
- Separate changing accommodation should be available to match officials.
The match officials should be paid in the changing room at a time that they request. - The League Management Committee would encourage all clubs to show hospitality after the match to visiting Teams and Match Officials, If Visiting Teams are not staying for hospitality please inform the home club. If Home clubs are providing hospitality please inform the visiting club prior to the fixture.
- Please do not contact Leagu Officials and Match Officials after 9.30pm.
- Please check all bulletins as these will contain news, fixtures and referee appointment updates
- If, when writing to the League, the subject matter should be written on the bottom right hand corner of the envelope
