23. The Kent Youth League Challenge Cup Rules

  1. The Kent Youth League Rules where applicable together with the following exceptional and additional Rules shall apply.
  2. The Competition shall be conducted on cup-tie principals and shall be compulsory open to all clubs competing in the Kent Youth Football League.
  3. Entrance Fee shall be — £35 per team payable by 1st August.
  4. All players must be registered with the Registration Hon. Secretary and must be bona-fide members of the club they represent. A player shall not play for more than one club in the Competition including A and B sides.
  5. Except by special permission of the League Council only players who have played in Three League and/or Cup games in the current season shall be eligible for the semi-finals and final tie.
  6. In all rounds in the event of the scores being level at the end of the required length of play 90 minutes U18, 80 minutes U16 & U15 and 70 minutes U14 & U13 to equal periods of extra time will be played U18 15 minutes each half, U16 & U15 10 minutes each half, and U14 and U13 5 minutes each half. If the tie still level after extra time the winners will be decided by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the International Board Decision contained in the Law of the Game.
  7. A Club may at its discretion use three substitute players at any time in a cup tie, except to replace a player suspended from the game by the referee The substitutions can only be made when play has been stopped for any reason and the referee has given permission. Only three substitutes from each side will be permitted in any one match, from five. The players name should be included on the result sheet. As per League rule 10(J).
  8. In 16, 15, 14 and 13 age groups five substitutes may be used and roll on and off substitutes are permitted.
  9. The net proceeds of the Final Tie shall be paid to the Competition, and the profits arising from the Competition shall be dealt with by the Management Committee at their discretion.
  10. A Club shall not be allowed to withdraw from the Competition. Any Club infringing this rule of failing to fulfil its fixtures shall be liable to a fine not exceeding #163;70.00.
