18. Trophy :- Legal Owners, Conditions of taking over, Agreement to be signed. Awards
A Competition Cup or Trophy shall be vested in the Association sanctioning the Competition as Trustees. If a Competition be discontinued for any
cause, the Cup or Trophy shall be returned to the Donor, if the
conditions attached to it so provide, or otherwise dealt with as the
Association may decide. At the close of each Competition awards
may/shall be made to the winners and runners-up if the funds of the
Competition permit.
The following agreement shall be signed on behalf of the winners of the Cup or Trophy:-
"We,
A........................................and
B.................................................., the Chairman and
Secretary of ................................................. F.C.,
members of and representing the said club, having been declared winners
of the ............... Cup or Trophy, and it having been delivered to
us by the Competition, do hereby on behalf of the Club jointly and
severally agree to return the Cup or Trophy to the Competition Chief
Executive on or before the 31st March. If the Cup or Trophy is lost or
damaged whilst under our care we agree to refund to the Competition the
amount of its current value or the cost of its thorough repair."
