Play.com - New Advertiser
I am delighted to confirm that we have added play.com to our list of advertisers and supporters of the site. The deal we have arranged with play.com is an exciting one in that for every purchase made "on line" which is accessed through the advert on our site, the League will receive a small percentage of every sale. It is my intention to keep everyone informed of how we progress with this.
The most important thing is that you access their website by clicking on the advert on the site. We have placed it initially on the Home Page so you can find it nice and easy! If you go direct then the League will not receive any monies. Please ensure that you tell all your friends and family who may have used the site before to access via our site. You will NOT be charged a higher price. The price is exactly the same. I have personally used the site for a number of years and found the service to be very good.
This is what we can earn:
Clothing: 6% of the transaction value
Gadgets: 4% of the transaction value
All Other Products: 2% of the transaction value
E.g. If someone purchased a £17.99 DVD the Kent Youth League would earn 36p in commission. If someone purchased a £20 t-shirt the Kent Youth League would earn £1.20 in commission.
