ALL CLUBS - Please Read - Outstanding Fixtures
Without tempting fate it does look at last that the better weather is now with us, and we need you to all work hard with us to get the fixtures for the season cast and ready to be played.
The clocks go forward in two weeks time so now is the time to get planning those midweek fixtures as soon as possible as. Your attention is drawn to Rule 10(f) which gives the League the power to award matches and to fine clubs quite large sums of money for not fulfilling fixtures. I am sure that you will want to avoid this!
Your uncast fixtures for each age group are shown as 1st June 2010. Please take the time to go through these and speak to your opponents and agree a date and kick off time.
Please then email the appropriate fixture secretary so that the games can be cast and please copy me in at ken.brooke@kentyouthleague.co.uk so that I can monitor the progress that is being made.
Clubs will be given 14 days from tonight to agree all outstanding fixtures, otherwise the fixture secretaries will be told to cast the fixtures without reference to clubs, and then games will have to be played on those days.
Last season, you all worked fantastically hard to avoid games not being played, and I know I can rely on you to do the same this season.
The deadline date then is Sunday 28th March. After this date any fixtures NOT agreed and cast will be done by the Fixture Secretaries with full support of the League Management Committee.
