William Johnson-Cole offered Scholarship at Palace

 

I have just had call from William -Johnson - Cole,who as you  know played for Maidstone Utd U14's & 15's in the Kent Youth League and was picked up by Crystal Palace FC, at the start of the season. He has just been told by Crystal Palace today, he has been offered a Full Term Scholarship at the club so he will be there until he is 18 at least. He is obviously delighted with the offer as are we at Maidstone Utd as he is yet another player we have moved on to a professional club, and we hope he goes on to follows in the footsteps of Chris Smalling who played for us and recently signed for Manchester Utd.
Received a short while ago from Maidstone United.
Great News particularly as I am a Palace Fan as you all know.
The League would like to wish William well and we will keep a keen eye on his progress.
