FA County Youth Cup - Semi Final Confirmed
Liverpool beat Cornwall 3 - 0 on Saturday to confirm their place in the semi final vs Kent which will take place at Liverpool on Sunday 28th February 2010, kick off 11.30am.
Liverpool took an early lead following a corner and quickly followed up with a free kick which was headed home by the centre back.
Cornwall failed to really turn up in the first half, but were unlucky when towards the end of the first half they struck the bar only to see the player following into score correctly ruled out for offside. Liverpool then also struck the bar before half time.
In the 2nd half Cornwall had total possession but didn't create too many chances. If they had scored they may have got back into it, but right on the final whistle Liverpool broke away to score the 3rd.
Liverpool deserved to win, and we will have to be at our best to compete and get a result.
