Remaining Fixtures - PLEASE READ

ALL CLUBS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING

Every effort has been made by the Fixture Secretaries to cast the remaining fixtures until the end of the season. with the recent bad weather this has meant that for some age groups we have fixtures that we cannot allocate on a Sunday, so if you scroll to 1st June 2010 you will see those fixtures which have not been cast.

As we did last season, we asking that you speak to your opposition and agree a midweek date and send confirmation of that agreeement to your fixture secretary who will then cast the fixture on the date you have agreed. You will need to confirm kick off time, the location of the game, and whether you require 2 Assistants, as Gavin will have Officials available midweek to run the line.

If there are any Sunday dates cast that you cannot do, then if you get your opposition to agree then the League will allow the game to be switched to midweek. This will be accepted up to 14 DAYS or 2 WEEKS before the fixture is due to be played. After that time, the fixture will NOT be changed.

Your attention is drawn to Rule 10 (F) where failure to fulfil a fixture can carry a fine of up to £200! Ouch.

In order to assist the fixture secretaries please copy me in on any fixtures that you agree as I am keen to help clubs in the way that we did last season, when your co operation was first class. My email is : ken.brooke@kentyouthleague.co.uk

There are now 102 days left until the end of the season, which I am sure you will agree is ample time to sort out the remaining fixtures!!!

If you look at your unscheduled fixtures and see a Sunday when both you and your opponents do not have a fixture, please contact your fixture secretary and the game will be cast.

Thank you in advance of your co operation and we look forward to hearing from you!
